CAD/Any of the diploma courses.
4. Condition NO.3 above may not be
applicable to students changing from one programme to a related course like CTF
to any DIPLOMA course.
11. Change
of name:
It is strictly specified on our
application form that students/applicant should write their names in capital or
block letters. Besides, we also know that our programmes are basically intended
for persons from secondary school level and above. This presupposes that the

Computer Institute will be willing to effect such a change but for some
conditions like
12. Deferment
of Payment: The institute has been considerate to students in terms of
payment of tuition fees for which the SPPS card was designed to show the extent
the institute can permit a student’s payment in installment, the date of such

defer his payment date as stipulated on the SPPS card for obvious reason(s). In

We believe & emphasize
theory as much s we emphasized practical. In fact a student who has been taught
theoretically tends to build up conceptual knowledge and principles in terms of
application areas. However, after the interesting class work, each student
is assigned a computer for practical on the basis of one computer to one person.
This is the reason why our examination is 50% practical and 50% theory.
14. GRADING
STRUCTURE:
At the end of any examination
the results are graded as follows:
GRADING SCHEME
A
= 80 – 100 DISTINCTION
B
= 70 – 79 UPPER CREDIT
C
= 60 – 69 CREDIT
D
= 50 – 59 LOWER CREDIT
E
= 40 – 49 PASS
F
= 0 – 39 FAIL
15. GRADUATION:
The Institute conducts graduation
ceremony once every year, which is compulsory for every student who completed
his/her computer programme in the institute. In this regard =N=1,000.00
graduation fee is compulsory for all students.
16. CAUTION FEE:
Going by the challenges we have had
in the past in respect of condition (5) above, the management has deemed it fit
to place caution fee of =N=500.00 on every registered student to enable the
institute maintain her equipments and replaced damaged items by students.
